I made this dress for my grand daughter! I haven't done any sewing in years, in fact, the last thing I made was a dress for my daughter 25 years ago. It just shows you're not too old to get back into sewing. I'm quite proud of the end result.  I hunted out the photo of my daughter and was surprised to see how much alike the dresses are. I'm still very rusty and I still don't seem to have enough hours in a day to do more sewing.  All I can say is, when I do get the opportunity, it's very rewarding.

My Nanna sings to me "A sewing machine, a sewing machine is a girls best friend" This september I am going to University to studying Surface Pattern to hopefully broaden my knowledge of textiles, it's interesting to see how other people, of all ages minipulate and create with fabrics in an innovate manner.
